Khoury Oriental Rugs was founded by Leon Khoury, Jr. & Paul Raad in the Spring of 2001. Both Leon & Paul were fascinated by the process of making the rugs, the uniqueness of each hand woven rug and the stories behind the patterns and medallions found in the designs.

They wanted to bring the luxury, feel and personality of the oriental rug to the South Carolina market. With the help of Paul’s childhood friend, Elie Herro, they started a small rug company. Elie brought decades of experience to the team and the business grew into a two location operation with more than 15,000 sq. ft. of showroom space.
